If the clients are extra-ordinarily clear about their own requirements, why do they need you? They can as well break the work in portions and get the desired outcome at a cost-effective way. Sustenance of your business interests would be at stake if the clients are over-smart, allow them to be confused in order for you to thrive! The current trend is "make a mountain out of mole"! Every corporate, whether small or big, is doing this! Very wrong trend to operate one's business - money alone is not everything!

Firstly, give him the time to speak or let him say what he/she wants. If the client is describing unnecessary things, take him towards the purposeful talking so that you can make clear what they are looking for & then try to solve the problem accordingly.
