What skill sets needed to be a test analyst ??
- He is the person who ensures that all requirements are tested.
- He ensures that Test Cases and Test Scripts are developed properly and are linked to requirements
- Play an active role in testing in all kinds of environments Dev, QA and UAT.
- He generates Test Strategy document with reference to the Design documents of the Software project.
- He tracks defects raised by the Product Test team, and validate with test case coverage to generate new test cases if required.
- On time Delivery of Test cases - positive, negative and GUI with reference to the Scope.
Skills needed: He should know about Manual Testing, Test Management Tools, Defect Mgt, testing(load runner) experience, SQL & good understanding of common software failures and faults

This is not related to my organisation and its not for any opening, just want to knw about this, I searched for on google but didn't get satisfactory answer so ....... anyone else who have better idea about this.

Would it not be good to first check your HR portal where they would have defined detailed description of the various roles suitable to your organization's needs?
If not, you can do a simple google search to get the details.
