I have noticed that most of Indian organizations still prefer to send paper invoices that cost more than the electronic invoice and it also makes negative effect on the environment. Invoicing your customers is an important task. You want to make sure they receive them right at or shortly after you provide your customer products or services. But are you still sending them via regular mail or are you considering emailing them?
Not all the Indian organizations using paper invoicing, they create invoice on systems, apply scanned stamp and attach with mail to send their customer. It also depend upon the working psychology of owner of the company as he/she is the only to order how to work with or without. Some of doing for their mental satisfaction to create paper invoice, some of them having habits or plenty of ways of doing paper invoicing.
