Many large organization are facing the talent war and finding ways to tackle it. Do startup and small companies are also facing the talent war. What role do startup and small companies play in the talent war?

Interesting Q&A Diya, Growing companies have some advantages in today's talent wars, like being able to provide employees with greater autonomy, work variety and roles that have real impact. But small businesses also have drawbacks, such as weaker brands and broad job roles that don't always offer a clear career path and can be viewed negatively by younger employees who are quite clear about the sorts of careers they want. So the startup companies are now concentrating on the development process of their company. By having a clear and wider vision and mission they can make use of this talent war to tap the talent towards their company.
It is a war within a talent resource whether to have comfort,growth,career,earnings,easy life , job security and freedom or some of them together.
No company is perfect to have everything.
Every one has their own choice. The company's brand plays a major influencing role into the freshers mindset and many take up to their job.
The company"s Image has a very breaking impact on the emplyed.
More than that the company's management and its policies on growth has more impact on employed.
Whether its new or old all the above factors make an impact into employed resources.
More than men women have more constraints and parameter about their selection of jobs.
Clear focus with clear growth and freedom makes the startups hold on to their resource,even at the cost of normal pay.People like to work in such sort of setup where they are the bosses and do not want to be tail of some one.
No doubt the startups face the problem because of the brand image they have yet not built up

Very many do realise only after having inducted into a company and see for themselves what really it is.
Internal politics of a company results in more attrition or not.This amounts to settling down in their chairs at the cost of others where company's aims are secondary.

It is hard to find right talent in yourself and one needs to jump form one field to another to know what are you good at and where can you stay. |
When emotions get involved the decision can become partial. Though it depends on what kind of decision is to be taken. We can never say that involving emotion would be good or bad. It will all depend on the outcome. |
