I am doing a thesis about contractor evaluation and selection. As the outcome of this thesis, I have to develop a contractor selection model for real work. But I have very limited work experience, and never experienced contractor selection at all. Could anybody help me out by sharing your experience of contractor/tender selection please?
P.S. In the research papers, it seems there is clear stages in contractor selection, first is pre-qualification, and then, final stage selection. But, are there also very clear stages in real life contractor selection?
P.P.S is tender selection the same as contractor selection?

4.Contractor Organization chart and mobility of laborers
5.Assets of the contractor like machinery
