We can help, over the last twenty to thirty years we have been trying every thing in our power to conserve energy and natural resources, many plans have been developed as to what should be done all of which are very good ones. The problem with these plans is that not every one contributes to the efforts to reduce pollution and waste, in fact most of the people I know believe recycling is a waste of time and they by them selves cannot make the difference. In some cases, I have found myself questioning my efforts. However, it is still important that we don’t quit. If only every one in every home would decide to do their part and help to keep our air clean, our water unpolluted and our wild life safe. The Earth is our home and we need to protect it.

We all been taught in school about the environment and we all know to what extent we all have been conserving the environment...forget the govt ...no one is stopping you to plant tress ...it's just that we have not sunk in water as yet,

now,Kyoto was a complete farce...except only one country met it's co2 emission cuts  obligation and that was Japan...so countries who want to save environment and grow will grow, in business as well via new avenues..on which they are forerunner...Still we have the international communities like UN imposing adequate mandatory reforms depending upon the countries Industrialization and since business is vital for every country cause industrialization and emission cuts will hamper the growth rate but countries have started taking steps...because they know there is money here as well...With emission cuts, we are at gorge depth less in comparisons with the European ,US and china rate of emissions.....And sine we are  far way from the normal emissions, i believe this slow recovery is the best time to Eat this sweet cake...our govt is offering in this sector...although it is heavy capital investment sector...good business models can help....and we have already started working on it...except the pace is slow........so keep you heart at peace ...no one can have a radical shift all of sudden...even if bloom energy comes with blessed cheap rates...aTLEAT HE HAS MADE DIFFERENCE....SO WE ARE ON THE RIGHT PATH...AL WE NEED IS PROPER PACE....

Sachin ... You echo my feelings !

Only solution, I feel is mass awareness campaigns / drives and education at primary and high school and every other social level about Environmental degradation / Impact etc.

Government has introduced only in Intermediate college some Environmental lessons as a mental exercise and a mark of lip service and token approach ...

All Governmental, Non-Governmental and Private social groups must come together ...

bagla sahib , i cannot argue with an authority like you ....

but i feel ... we should save people rather than trees / environment ..

logic :: if we cut a tree .. a new tree whilst planted will grow up into a tree ..

but a dead person .. can we retrieve him back ..

Hi Sachin I can understand your feelings. According to me we cannot change this until people realize the importance of environment. They should know what they are doing is harmful and the effect will be to them and not the environment. Atleast the present generation should be educated well about the environmental issue.

Thanks....
