AS we know, the cost of construction goes up when the building reaches certain height. In the current scenario, will this play a major role in cutting down the cost of constrution?
As the height of building goes up lots of factors such as seismic, wind load , tilt etc influence the cost but then to meet the demand the growth has to be horizontal which will also increase the cost of infrastructures of the city. The prime factor is 'is the state ready to meet the growth needs of infrastructures etc .
definetely not to reduce the cost of construction by ingreasing the height of building b'coz height of any building govern by many factor like sismic load , wind load , overturning moment, tilting etc to over come such factor we have to provide heavy strutctural design. And labour cost.eueipment cost also increase to work at such great height. ultemetly the cost of construction should be increase .
No it will not possible to cut down the cost of construction by increasing the height of building because as well as we rise the height of buliding it will influance by many factors such as sismic, wind pressure, tilting etc. To meet this Factors we require dense steel and Very high grade of concrete in the design of such building. As we go up the labour cost is also very high. By increasing the height of building we fullfill the requirement of houses etc. as we are well know that the their is no too much land with us to construct a independent houses.

Is the buzzword AFFORDABLE HOUSING is really affordable. What is the fate of this in the long run? |
What should be the height of the building to be economical in terms of construction cost? |
Yes,there will be a shortage of GOOD workers who can give quality jobs. AS far as unskilled, there will not be shortage of people. |
