I think there are some more steps have to take to tackle this problem. 1. Single window system . 2. RTI should be inserted in syllabus. 3. Everyone responsibilitiy is not to give & take bribe. 4. Do your work honestly. 5. In every govt office there must be inquery officer who will give information about the procedure of work, which will be useful to minimise the corruption. Absence of knowledge about the work is one of the cause where govt official can fool to common man. 6. Paperless work is also good option. Use information technology whenever it is possible 7. Strict law for financial crimes & special courts for that cases. 8. Public awarness about RTI act.
Corruption is something which is floating from bottom to top not top to bottom. We ppl actually r the root cause for corruption in India. Just thinking, discussion & wishing for a corruption free India is not enough. We have to work for it start from u, stop doing any thing which directly or Indirectly supports corruption. As well said all gud things starts from you so as bad.
Hi all,
Not only Awareness and Education but also punishment must be severe then only we can eradicate corruption..In Govt. offices there is job security and they know they will not go out till they get 60 years. In Govt. offices for any small information they ask money, In one way the other we are also responsible to this corruption we give money for our work done easily... And they get easy money.
Hope we will see no corruption India in near future.
Corruption is something deeprooted in india and it is really very tough to eradicate it. So many people have said about education but even 100% littrate india will have corruption because education is perseived as a tool to earn money and there starts all the problem, in this rat race we start bribing the people in power and that become a tradition e.g giving a tip to hotel waitar so that you can get better service the next time you visit. As people dont want to waste their time in que.
It requires another incarnation of god to remove corruption from my country. To minimize the volume, a fast track judiciary and immediate punishment to culprits (that is both sides who gives and who takes) should be made. The lazy officials and immoral public should be taken into task. The youth can play a major role to minimize the corruption in our country.
Corruption is in our blood actually, we cannot eradicate it completely. Take for example our parents, they will say if you do this you'll get this. We all have been indirectly practicing corruption and bribe since our childhood. It cannot be removed easily. It can be reduced only if every person knows his values and loyal to his work.
Interesting topic, Really wished to see a curruptionless India, Until unless the public service across the country will seriously consider to service the General public with dignity corruption will be part and parcel in India. Even our Vice president yesterday admitted that corruption in public life as a threat to national security, and said steps for ethical norms in the executive, legislature and judiciary have been “inadequate”.
