As the things on this planet are going on I consider as appropriate to recall one old Serbian saying, "Blessed is the one who loses his wits young. He owns heaven!" This could be the best line of activity at the present. (Watch Lars von Trier's movie "Melancholia." Relax, it's in English.)

An excellent question indeed, Sheetal. It stirs up so many things. :) Sometimes the picture could get very cloudy, if indeed you really ARE looking for an answer.

I'll agree with Raju sir here. What job at what age and in which field?

The universes of knowledge that exist could be said to be spheres which seem to overlap each other in strange ways. Add to this mix some human creativity, ingenuity, etc and there is a very complicated world indeed. Especially in these days, what with the information explosion, trade explosion, etc in addition to the normal explosions.

As you go along in life, every so often, one has to do an introspective stock-take. Make a list such as the good old SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). This works very well - ONLY IF YOU USE IT REGULARLY. What is the point in doing it once and then forgetting about it?

As many greats have said: Change is the only constant. Therefore, I've worked in different fields at different times in my life. I've worked as a teacher, a trainer, a waiter, a restaurant manager, a tutor, a security control room operator, and now technical writer, web designer, content writer, product designer... there's space for a few more along life... I pray God.

I feel that I'm constantly changing, evolving for the better along some - seemingly - bizarre path. Ultimately, when I look back, I do have regrets but they are very few. And perhaps because of those regrets, I have further changed. :)

The mind is the sum of its interconnecting neurons. The more the interconnections, the better, sharper and more creative the brain becomes. The best way to stimulate the brain into forging masses of new connections is to learn new things. Change, change is the constant.
