Mission, vision, objectives, motive, ???
When should an organization ready to implement CRM?
Should Marketing department lead the implementation? if not, please state why?
Any envidence to support that it is worthly to be implemented?
Any case studies to be shared? success or failure won't matter.

The initiative should be led by a joint team team of senior managers from Sales,Marketing,Finance and Operations. The sponsor can be the Marketing/ Sales Director as there can be fair amount of process change in these functions during the initiative.

CRM Worthy or Not is a broad question but in a line the answer is it is worthy if you think your business can benefit from Customer Loyalty and Customer Life Time Value. But ROI is difficult to gauge as always, it takes time.
