A better connection between web-based analytics and marketing tools like those offered by Omniture or Lyris with the CRM.
As leads are generated and cultivated through whitepaper offerings,
webinars, podcasts and such, the information you are collecting about
the prospect (when they register) is automatically collecting in your CRM.
Next, I see CRM’s moving to mobile applications. With unlimited minutes and technologies like iPhone on the market, I see sales people using their mobile phones to enter key information, schedule tasks and meetings, enter meeting notes and such from their phones instead of their laptops. Skype and other technologies integrate with CRM’s like Sales Force but it doesn’t go far enough and there needs to be a change in licensing from most CRM’s to make this happen.
