The SAS system enables to perform following analysis features:Hi!
SAS is a software that has a very wide range of applications and usablitiy. It can be used as a programming language, a Statistical application software, a Business Intelligence software.
It has additional features like one can work with SAS using vast data sets, has an SQL interface and hence quite some features of an RDMS too.
Example : Post collecting behavioural data on a panel of consumers on their shopping purchases, SAS can be used for the following purposes, amongst many others :-
1. Standard report generation (Cross tabs of various heads)
2. Divide the entire consumer base into broad Segments
3. Identify characteristics of target consumers and thereby use these information to predict probable consumers
