According to me nothing can be better than a Mobile or PDA based CRM solution for timely delivery of accurate information from field force. They can fill and submit the data as soon as they collect it. Problem with web based systems are that field force can’t use them effectively in field and they feel it very boring to do it in evening after completing all days hard work. PDA solution makes it possible to enter customer remarks instantly in the system and find solution for their queries on the run.

have any one tried Google apps in mobile? my god, u cant find a better collaborative tool than this.
It is customizable, can be accessed from any place having inet connection/ gprs, If you ever had a chance try that out.. with form creators, excel capabilities, onine docs, calender, online sharing, phew the list is endless..I have actually set one for my friend for his event management company, and his sales force as well as the other staffs were able to use it!
Disclaimer: Need an aptitude and attitude to set the initial set up in the way tyou want and everything else happens in a fly!

Well mobility is the new buzz thing as far as tracking sales force or Supply chains is concerned. Couple of products like SFDC (Is very intricate), Sage, and a free version called as Zoho can be good options.
