From my view I cannot comment on individual classes. On both sides there are many classes that are more powerful / easier / more elegant than its counterpart in the other world. We went to the consideration of the concepts, libraries, tools and the market, which has developed around the core of the platforms. As expected, wins Java, when it comes to platform independence, and. NET when it comes to integration with Windows and Windows applications like Microsoft Office.
