From my view I cannot comment on individual classes. On both sides there are many classes that are more powerful / easier / more elegant than its counterpart in the other world. We went to the consideration of the concepts, libraries, tools and the market, which has developed around the core of the platforms. As expected, wins Java, when it comes to platform independence, and. NET when it comes to integration with Windows and Windows applications like Microsoft Office.

Hi Narena, I think you will never come to colclusion if you think neutral, they both have their own advantage over each other and to qualify one to be best over the other wont be fair.

.NET is good. because CLR is bettee than JVM

It depends on the company size ans also security issues. Application deveoped using java is more secure than application using .net,but .net is a RAD tool. We can deveolpe application faster.it depends

I think J2EE is anytime better than .NET. The primary reason being the fact that Microsoft just knows how to copy good things & this is precisely what .NET is all about. The only novelty in .NET is drag-n-drop to reduce development time but still its nowhere J2EE.
