Can Anyone tell me which companies seem to be under losses but yet their marketing strategy has been great! in showing the people they are still there seem to really amaze me. Take for example sony . Sony the company forecast for this quarter was close to Billion in losses yet in order to keep the brand and consumer aware they have hit strongly back by constant advertisement in TV with renewed vigour and newspaper advertisement with half page ads. makes consumer believe they are doing good, brings awareness back to consumer brand. If you noticed ad the new ad is based on sony cool pix camera which was actually released a year back with another advertisement they released this brand again with different advertisement. Though I believe this is a Coolest idea! The company that I know are currently facing a losses is Sony, Panasonic and Cocktail industries in the bar and hotel industry.
Can anyone else tell me how to spot the tell tale sign of companies facing Loss?

I believe that companies that are able to increase advertising during losses are likely to have stronger future earnings. I can recall Audi who has increased its 2009 advertising budget specifically to take advantage of a soft advertising spending market. It has already seen increases in its brand awareness and purchase consideration that executives attribute to the ability to market aggressively while other auto makers are cutting back......
