Dear, I have completed my B.E (Electronics and Comm.) in Jun-2008. After
completing my B.E, i have joined as a junior R & D engineer (Related to
Embedded system). I am interested in Embedded system. All my friends go to
Communication industry. And they have better Salary. Now i m thinking to switch
over job. But I have confusion to select industry for better future. I
mean to say better future in respect of Salary and Job satisfaction. I am in Gujarat .
But for better future i am ready to go out of Gujarat .
plzz guide me.
dont go for salary compair,first decide UR interest in which field,i think both field are carrier in future, the difference is that fastest growth in telecom compair to embedded...
Nilesh if you have interest in embedded system then I would suggest you to carry forward with this interest even if your friends are being paid higher salary than you.Don't get lure by the higher salaries because very few people get a chance to work in the field which they are interested in.Moreover this embedded systems is a niche field and there is a huge scope in this field and in telecom industry also there are numerous embedded systems from telephone switches,mobile phones at the end-user. So embedded systems are being used in other sectors also and in my view you should stick with your current job.
