Hello.

Both the ways of marketing are viable and effective in their own way!!

Considering the Rural Population it would be hard to say that "on - line Marketing" works. isn't it?

On the contrary when we talk about the growing use of Computers and Internet's worldwide it becomes more hard to say that "Direct Marketing" works.

So, according to me considering all the facts it would not be justifiable to say that which one is effective and viable, but as regards future is concerned, u never know because of increasing use of internet and good education can quite make "on - line marketing" more favorite.

Direct Marketing is more effective. A person can know the need and offer or develop product as per market / individual requirement.

Direct marketing is better in many cases when one has to select the thing on the basis of quality,one thing of various quality,while online is better when one has to take only quality and branded thing having only one quality. It's upto the customer who has to decide.

Hi,

I think both online as well direct marketing are effective in their own way.

If we take customers of small town then direct marketing creates more impact on them.

But on the other hand if we are dealing with a large group or the product or services are for youngsters then online marketing wins the race. As today most of the people spend time on net whether its official or personal work......IT has taken front seat and in that case online marketing has more weight age over direct marketing.

So, I’ll go with the both techniques of marketing.

Even though online marketing has made the work more simpler and easier,but i think in direct marketing we get a chance to showcase our skills & talent which is most important in a marketing field. Also people do very much prefer face to face interaction mostly when it comes to marketing .

Also depends on type of product/field/industry .
