Medical trials should not be taken by everybody. It has many side effects and if the body's immune power is not so strong, its better, the man should avoid it or else it may become harmful for him.

Clinical Trials are very very important to deliver good treatment. There are some disadvantages like side effects to the particular molecule. It even applies to medicine already existing in the market. Also Phase I & II finished and in Phase III only human volunteers are required in most of the drug trials. When the greediness of the Investigator increases only wrong inclusion of subject occur. They want to get more money so more trouble starts. If some overseeing body helps the drug trial subjects this can be avoided.

I agree with Pranoy kumar that intellicuals have good intentions ,but in country like India having huge population of people BPL/illiterate, it becomes a easy target for financially sounf health firms to target the  illiterate (like kidney racket) and make sacrifice their health for pittance.

We may be poor but we need to take care of the BPL from these sharks .A very high alert is needed and very stringent laws necessary to control the clinical test including repealing of research and business permit if found guilty of malpractices and misuse of trust.

I wonder if thisexpoitation has already started? our friends in biotech field here in toostep can make the right moves in the right direction

Dr. Henennman is exceptional but in a poverty stricken and a majority finding survival difficult, a means as such can be a reason for abuse too. The intellectuals have an intention to serve the mankind but what intentions does the subject carries is to be judged before even short listing this person for the clinical trial.

Homeopathy has developed its own ways of testing its remedies (Medicines) All the remedies are tested on a healthy body  and its effects on the body and mind are recorded. So that remedy will cure a person with disease of similar characteristic. Homeopathy does not need patients to try a remedy. More specifically, Dr. Henennman who discovered the art of healing called Homeopathy tried all the remedies in himself and recorded all his findings. After all his trials, his body become more robust and strong than before the trials. For more details you  can refer hpathy.com Organon and Philosophy

There are specific guidelines that should be considered before participation. Such as age, type of disease, medical history, and current medical condition. But some research studies seek volunteers with illnesses or conditions to be studied, while other trials need healthy volunteers.
