Who actually is most powerful political personality in India, as Mrs Pratibha Patil, The President? or Mr. Manmohan Singh, PM? or someone else? India is really lagging behind in Security if taking China's hidden plans for India's defeat into consideration. Who is more powerful to deal with this situation? There are many threats externally or internally and there is no decision on them.......
political person can become powerful, when he is most honesty and other option is with good corruption record.In Indian political system, politicians cannot survive with their honesty levels. so each and everyone competing with others in the form of corruption(in the name of service). so,we cant decide a powerful political personality(powerful political corruptions)
Power should not be the topic of discussion, it should be responsibility. Ask who is the most responsible citizen. He/she is the best politician.
I hope you all remember this quote "with great power comes great responsibility". How many politicians remember this????
In my opinion all the controversial, corrupt, characterless, cheap politicians stand a good chance of getting this honour. And by the way there is a huge bunch of idiots in contention for this position and it is very tough to single out one IDIOT. More over it isn't worth spending much time on it.........
I think Narendra Modi is powerful political personality, he is doing well in Gujrat, and hope he can chnage our India.
@Ganesh Gurav: Raj thakre is not at so powerful to work for the whole country(he is for only maharashtrians). I am talking about a powerful figure who is responsible for the whole country. Narendra Modi is also in the same Category. Besides this , they are always involved in some sort of dispute.
@Vinod Kumar: Indian President has no power if we consider those countries with presidential government.Indian President , even to take a decision has to consult with the Governor of the states, You might have heard about the news in the daily where Indian President had to wait for 30 min or so for a MP. many cases pending before President to take decisions on them, even Lok adalats are 100 times faster in solving the cases in India then our hon. President.
@Guruprasad: thier Power to use internally on their party or on left will not save India's integrity but will make an unstable Government. When to stand up for any security concern, they have nothing to say about that.
@Sanjay Mishra: Rahul Gandhi is not the best candidate for CM, PM is far behind for him. He took admission in Harvard (donation quota) and rejected from there because he is not at all for Harvard study curriculum.He is a disguise person as his mother sonia. he has passport of both India and Italy i.e. he is the citizen of both the countries. @Sanjana: The main cause behind our security concerns is that no one has the power to take decisions alone, the power is distributed among several hundreds of people/leaders in IndiaMr. P Chitambram doing exactly opposite to Mamta Banerjee and Manmohan Singh.And we can see the results of this distributed power in Mumbai Blast, Kashmir valley case and etc etc etc.
conclusion: No one is powerful as a whole to think for his/her country. and if the power is distributed among several personality, they are not at all following the team-spirit and teamwork.

As per me president of Indian,,,but people those who are choosen for this seat still confuse for their role...and i beleave that if this confusion remove then we can see some interesting & powerful decisions.
All our Political personalities are powerful , since they know how , when and on whom to use their power.
In my openion Rahul Gandhi is the most Powerful personality .....He must be the next Prime Minister....
All our leaders are powerful political personality but they need to work as a team to solve these security related issues. When they don't have responsibility/unity how will it be in the people. So instead of debating who is best let everyone take the initiative to solve the problem....
