Well what is the def of a worst person .... i feel no one in the team coz if u feel that someone is not performing up to the standards you need to mentor him/her so that the productivity can increase as unless u mentor the team you will always have some good and bad performers ... we have to keep in mind that we don't compare the guys as all the persons are different and comparison is not good at all.

TEAM LEADER, he himself is a non performer if he fails to apply the following:

If the TL fails to be a mentor and share his knowledge to make his team members to develop their success.
If he fails to play his roles as an initiator, teacher, role model, catalyst for success etc at appropriate times
If he fails to appreciate the team and the differences to be made as innovation.
If he fails to communicate effectively.
If he fails to plan the schedule properly and make his plan to be transparent to his team.
If he fails to trust in the ability of the members of the team.

If I am not done my homework properly then automatically it is me.
In a team oneness is more important. All team member to have a unity to lead the goal. As the leader responible for the teams win, so to the failure also.

To be a good coder you need to have the following characteristics
1. Understand the requirements fully
2. Design the solution with clarity
3. Understand the programatic semantics and specialities of the application and use the same.
In the above if the programmer is a very bad listener and does not understand the requirements and codes to my knowledge will be the Bad coder i can assume.

the one who talks a lot and has the most number of failed JUnit tests or nUnit tests (if you are using any modern technology it shows you in red and also has a log file with all errors for each class unit tested).
Those failed Junit tests will turn out to be expensive in production later.
btw I was no great in programmer both at University or even at work but conceptually I understand some crazy stuff like interop between CORBA and RMI objects ... and as for UI I should have read some of the classes I took during undergrad.

The person who never gives productivity in any mode..
And most important thing is who carries a negative approach in tasks he/she is handling..
I consider them the worst..
