indian follow both arranged and love marriage in todays life.though arranged marriage are regulated by parents and couples have little saying in this ,if their is a failure in arreanged marriage then it can be blamed upon parents who have selected bride or groom depending on the case.but today we see more no of love marriages going to court ,if the lovers had spent so many times with each others company trying to understand each and every aspect of others ,why cant they last their marriage longer ,why they end up terminating the marriage contract.if life is a ongoing process of understanding each other in marriage then why do people stuborn on marrying love once only why cant any one for that matter?
Not sure if your assumption is correct.
I have seen a lot of happy love marriages (including mine) so I believe that love marriages are successful.
However, there could be one reason for a love marriage to fail -- that is if people in society keep expecting the love marriages to fail and if the couples in those marriages start believing the negative people, and behaving negatively too.
Personally speaking, in order to avoid getting influenced by the negative attitude about love marriages, I continue to have my positive expectation about my love marriage rather than believe in other's negative expectation, and I tell that to my friends who have had love marriages too.
