Swaraj Foundation is a non profit organisation working for Rain water Harvesting and Management since 5 yrs, why this Govt is not giving any subsidies in BWSSB Water Bill those who have already implemented Rain Water Harvesting Systems as it is giving in Electricity Bill for those who have installing Solar for their house.
by Rain Water Harvesting we are saving Ground water and gorundwater table will increase substantly, also during rainy season we can use rain water atleast 90 days so we can save BWSSB water by pumping about 100+ kms (KRS).
secondly in Bangalore all the drains are connected to Sanitation and Rain Water floods and flows through drainage it will increase cost for Sanitry Board Water Treatment as rain water flows. if we make potential use al the rain drops falls on roof tops by RWH and Recharge Pits we can avoid floods as well reduce our monthly electricity (Borewell) and water bills.
This way we can contribute for the society.
Govt. should subsidise and participate earnerstly in this endeavour. Ur initative inthis feild is commendable.
