The news of Indian students being bullied in Australia has become a weekly affair.  Its hurting to read that an Indian is being targeted by Australians.  There have been some very serious cases where people have almost died.  One of the students affected is in a state of coma.  When will this stop is a question yet unanswered, but at the same time why only Indians, why not any student from another country?  This is intriguing.  What wrong have our students done?  I have tried very hard to find this out but could not.

I dont think that its 100% true that only Indians are targeted in Australia. It happens everywhere in the world. Its media which is making everything hype.As many Indians who live there are continuously informing that its nice living there. In Canada ,America also there are many case of murder and abuse of Indians.Even in London there are many cases. Its really confusing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mostly because they find Indians some what intimidating, in terms  of culture and the way they go about everything, as most of the Indians are not outgoing as others, and in Australia people are more outgoing and Indians are more successfull in their fields and are more intelligent than their counterparts so to vent their frustration they are targetting Indian students....and which started as just few fights has now gone bad and worse situation where almost each week some or other cases are reported against the Indian students...and this has not stopped, so the Australian Government is not doing enough to protect the interests of foreign students who throng to universities abroad for their higher education.......

i guess dats because they find Indians as their biggest threat for good jobs and good education too cos most of the Indians outperform themselves whether in job or in studies, especially when we are working in some foriegn country, cos most of us tend to shoulders some responsibility back home,so we tend to put our best efforts, which in turn reduces opportunities for the local students, and thats why they are targetting us.

There might be some fear factor among those australians  attackers that indians are better than them. They will get better opportunities & better placement later on after finishing there studies.Recession is also a crucial factor. In Canada also such kind of incidences have taken place. They are also feeling inferiority complex &  sense of insecurity  while thinking that  these Indian students will seize their job opportunities.
