why our government is not intrested in the development of Hybrid vehicles
which is good for the environment insted of gasoline or diesel vehicles
which makes rise in the atmospheric temperature ?
its not the question of interest. You will know a lot more if you read Carbon Credits and what kind of atmospheric levels of carbon do we have. With respect to that the decision of hybrid vehicles can be taken. Till such time you have not swallowed the permissible carbon levels, you may go with the current emmissions allowable by the BHARAT III or Euro III norms.
No Indian company so far has made a hybrid vehicle. Its high time that our government should encourage the manufacturing and usuage of hybrid cars in India. The government can even provide tax break to the people who imports hybrid cars. If the government does waive off duties on hybrids, we will have all sorts of manufacturers fitting small hybrid motors on their cars, only to save on duty. Further, we will have another problem where duty-free hybrids work out cheaper than building a non-hybrid locally and thus, no one will be setting up manufacturing or assembly operations in India at all.
When it comes to development of vehicles, government doesnot take initiatives as there is no seperate facility for doing so. When the government can develop missiles, advanced weapons it can certainly hybrid vehicles. But government should create a seperate group and can develop prototypes for these hybrid vehicles. Private motor companies can buy the license from government and start manufacturing those cars at a competitive rate. This initiative should be taken in politicians or by scientific advisory board. Hope some developments would take place in future
