Why US Prez Obama made no mention of Indian Muslims in Cairo speech?

Sayan and Sujit, I believe no more comments should be made on this topic. It should not have been asked at this forum anyway. This topic would be best discussed in the streets or in bars but not on a professional site as Toostep.  Could you people have some respect for the President of the United States of America (he is considered the most powerful man in the World). In future address him as President Obama or Mr. Obama. None of the two of you have status to address him as Obama.

An Indian is an Indian why the need to segregate.

pathetic, that an Indian Media person is raising question for why Obama did not speak something. same media had given more space to OBAMA on the first day of present parliament session when obama and our president both had given speech on the same day. 

He was referring to certain communities whose lives have been mired with American policies and action...since Indian muslims lives are not mired as a result of American policies and actions there is no reason to mention them.

Really--This was very bad at OH BAH-MAH's part---How could he forget Indian muslims?

If such ignorance continues--then I am afraid Indian muslims will start putting the country fast before the religion.

If such ignorance continues then Indian muslims wont agitate on streets against the mis behaviour with a muslim of africa.

Obama, you did it very bad--if you repeate these then I'll bet Indian muslims will no longer agitate if a palestanian is killed by Israeli or even if a muslim of Guatemala is caught by Christian police of northern Ireland.

Ok leave Obama-- why din't the Arab muslims pelt stone on street because of such insult by Obama to Indian Muslims? Atleast they should not forget that Indian muslims will have kept on pelting stones on Indian street whenever Arabs needed ?

Hi Shahid, i don't know on what context u have mentioned "Indian Muslims".but, do u think there are different forms and kinds of Muslims? i'm not talking of sub-sects instead, it is not correct to differentiate among religions.i believe, if at all there is any special perception in Mr.Obama regarding muslims, it will not differ in any continental background!! Indian Muslims are INDIANS first and then only they are identified with thier religion. ofcourse, this is applicable to all religions existing in our country.

Why differentiate between Indian muslims and muslims in other part of the world? Did he mention Pakistan? Indians are Indians...should be no segregation.

I once asked an Egyptian if he is Indian(he was a muslim of Indian origin). His relpy was " I am Egyptian"
