@ Jagdeesan.

The green concret waste, if generated, can be agin managed to a large extent by planning for it. Most of the times such wastes are generated due to miscalculation of concrete qty and ordering excess from RMPand/or sudden cancellation of the pour due to technical/weather/unforeseen reasons. To counter such situations some stand by pour, preferably of concrete of lower grade, shall always be kept ready or at least half ready. Or if there are some small precast elements to be casted then few moulds can be kept at site or the batching plant (if own). Else some scope of enabling works can be thought over.

Even then if the wastage is inevitable or the waste green concrete is generated by washing of the batching plant or the transit mixer, then there shall always be a predetermined dumping area. If possible, this area can be a public place needing to be filled up (due request/permission for filling shall be obtained) or a similar location of our own interest.

There are established methods to manage all types of wastes. Details can be easily got on 7he Internet, from the local Pollution Control Boards, and from Standards on the same. It will prove slightly more costly. Maybe, I as a private citizen can afford to go slightly easy on the same. But the poser of the question as a Project Manager in a Govt. PSU has no option but to comply with the Waste Management Norms as set up by the Government.

Construction waste can and should be managed in the same way as other  operations. Efforts to reduce, reuse, and recycle construction waste may save money, reduce liability, keep job sites cleaner and safer, and conserve valuable landfill space.Whether you are a builder or a remodeler, moving from straight disposal to waste management can make your business more resource-efficient.

Here are three simple actions to consider

Know what you throw

Follow the three R's  reduce, reuse, and recycl

Investigate local conditions and option

Your disposal costs are largely dependent on local landfill capacities.

Certainly some cost will be incured. But by integrating waste management in your construction planning a majority if this cost may get overlapped. For example identifying dumping area in advance so as to avoid re-handling, if there some sell-able waste then the vendor can be finalised in advance, if recycling is intended then the studies shall be done in advance and suitable changes shall be made in project planning etc. It all depends upon the specific problem and logistics of the project.

DEPENDS on what material or industral waste product you wanna USE . NOWADAYS  Industrial waste products such as fly ash will be sold by power plants through NOTICE INVITING TENDER . And some times even in market. If you wanna use recycled aggregates then, First you need a stone crusher especially for that. If you have a crusher then go to the sites were demolition work is going on and convince the authorised person there that you wanna take those demolished ones. But always remember to have a litlle historical data of the source/material which is being reused. Do remember SLAG which is a waste product can be replaced upto 50% in OPC and it is 2 times less efficient in terms of emissions and energy. There are lot mores Like rice husk ash, crushed stone dust etc. which can also be used in Construction.

Yes, implementing construction waste management will increase the cost of your project because you need to use recycled material for your construction. Since the recycled materials have not reached the market, it is quite expensive. Then you should also reuse and recycle the construction waste in the construction site. But there are many cost effective method to implement it, but due to lack of skilled labor it is also more expensive.
