Nokia was struggling to match up in the smart phone category with iphone, blackberry and htc and others really doing well in this category, though Nokia is having a higher number of share like in the mobile phone category in the world 38% belongs to Nokia phones, but they were not able to crack the smart phone category. But the wait is finally over Nokia is coming up with N900 which

Nokia-N900 - The device is powered by the Mameo 5 software which is an Linux based software that offers Desktop like experience on a hand-held device. With Linux software, Mozilla-based browser technology and now also with cellular connectivity, the Nokia N900 delivers a powerful mobile experience.
Features - 1. ARM Cortex 8 processor.
2. It has a WVGA touchscreen and a full, slide out QWERTY keyboard.
3. 32GB of memory and with the expansion slot, you can add up to 48GB.
4. 5 megapixel camera
5. GPS & a FM radio to go with
Price - 35,000 excluding taxes.
What do you think guys will N900 give tough competition to iphone?
Nokia N900 is relatively new in the market. There are already many models of Nokia which have captured the market. Since this model is new in India for the first time, maybe it may have to face some competition in the beginning, but as always we have seen, we Indians are always excited about any new models of Nokia so, I don't think it will take a long time to become popular.........
