Yes I think it will increase the business of LCD & plazma. As Navien said we can see it in all the houses in the future. The demand for LCD's and plazma are increasing day by day. DTH and fall in price are the major reason for this demand .
DTH is going to sweep the country in a big way in times to come in Urban India and will percolate down to rural india gradually. Like CRT TVs, DTH will enter into each room of a house in Urban India. This will also fuel demand for a greater viewing pleasure which would come from the flat panels(LCD/Plasma). Certainly DTH will fuel the increase of flat panels. The other factor which will fuel the demand will be replacement of CRTs with flat panels.
I feel it can be reverse coz any one who buys LCD/Plasma..normally buys DTH to get more clear pic quality than the regular cable TV
I THINK DTH & LCD/PLASMA HAVE NO RELEVENCY IN TERMS OF SALES INCREASE. INCREASE IN SALES OF LCD/PLASMA IS EXAMPLE OF UPGRADATION IN PEOPLES LIFE STYLE.
