Branding your Business would definitely work in the industries which are yet to mature completely and their product / service offerings have still not become commodities. For example, in the technology business, customer still value their network reference & branding more than mere vendor presentation, when they decide on technology investments.

It is just a online version of Franchise World...or Yellow pages. To add value you will have to create a platform where you will have to bring the Ideas and Investments together. Today we see reality shows which is encouraging entreprenuership and upon selection funding of the same is done. But all such programmes are once in a while, we need a Website which gives as individual an opportunity to describe his idea and let the investor select the one which he likes the most and then take the same to the real world.
Definitely a great concept and indian market is welcoming such ideas. Only three things need to be taken care:
1. Revenue Model should be vry clear from day one.
2. It will need strtegic positioning and branding effort.
3. Avoid cash burn out in the middle of the run
