I don't think this is required because the reservation word itself is not required.  In past, there were so many woman rocked the politics and in future there will be so many.  Who stops the intelligence and talent. I am sure this reservation will be misused by their husbands and nothing elese.  As per my personal experience I have seen so many women in the municipal corporation and MLAs, their husband use to attend the meetings by giving some certificate.  So I don't think this bill will help women to come up. We must avoid the word reservation in any field so that all talented individuals can come forward and prove that the Indians are best. You can provide all the required facilities to the backwards and others those who don't have the facilities but selection should be on the talent and achievement base.  So the intelligent people are not deprived of the success and jobs.

yes, we should look alternative for reservations in india, Is there any machanisim out of reservation? it is note that mis use of reservations is obvious. we should uplift the dragon socity but in built- Indian system is capable to come out from the inequlities.

The basic thing biologically women is weak than men but mentally she is equl to men. Equlity must on the basis of economic criteria either for women or men.equl opportunities on priority base.

So i suggest limited reservation can be temporary base on economic criteri.

THANK YOU SACHIN.

WOMEN MUST BE GIVEN THEIR DUE SHARE IN GOVT.THERE WERE AND THERE ARE SO MANY CAPABLE WOMEN SUCCESSFULLY MANAGING NOT ONLY THE FAMILIES ALSO COMPANIES,BUSINESS,AS DOCTORS,LAWYERS,ENGINEERS ETC WHICH IS A VERY CLEAR INDICATION OF THEIR CAPABILITIES.WE ALSO HAD AND HAVE SO MANY IN STATE AND CENTRAL GOVTS PROVING THEIR WORTH.OF COURSE THERE MAY BE SOME NOT SO CAPABLE PEOPLE WHOSE POWER AND POSITION ARE MISUSED BY THEIR HUSBANDS FOR THEIR SELFISH NEEDS.WE SHOULD ONLY TRY TO MAKE USE OF THE TALENTS AND WISDOM WHEREVER IT IS AND WHOEVER HAS IT.FOR THE BETTERMENT OF OUR COUNTRY.

Actually it is Not Required. If at all it is brought in then do it under Certain Condition.

Not Required because :

a) it would be misused by the male (Husbands) and bring in puppets

b) There are a lot of capable women already in our country as well as politics. Hence, it actually would be an insult to women and their capabilities

c) Lots of women (Indra Gandhi, Jayalalitha, Mayavati, Susma Swaraj, etc., etc.) have been active in politics and have been winning

d) Most importantly, if there is any kind of reservation then it would be a mockery of democracy. There should be no reservations in a True Democracy.

If reservation is introduced then the conditions should be :

a) Make reservation Rotational. i.e. if 33% (or approx. 165 seats) of the constituencies are reserved for women this time, then the next time randomly select another 165 (approx.) seat next time. If a women candidate has done well in her constituency, then the next time she would be preferred and be re-elected by the voters in her constituency. Also, this method would ensure better governance by women MPs who won in reserved seats (who also would want to retain their constituency next time) as also bring in more women into the Parliament thru 33% different reserved constituencies.

(Hence, to those of you who initially accused me of being anti women due to me stating “Not required” in the first portion, please note that I have given a wonderful pro-women suggestion.)

b) Have the column “None of the Candidates” in the ballot selection list. This would give the voter a choice not to select any candidate “imposed” by a rule (the government).

While there is no doubt about the need for reservation for women, a robust mechanism should be brought in to ensure the equitable distribution of this reservation, to avoid only the privileged corner this reservation provision.

May be .... but there has to be a vision for mental growth of the society. This shall target the right class and there shall not be any sort of partiality. Lot of thinking process is required on these issues as it shall not overlap with the reservation bill or Schedule tribes bill etc etc.

People can't  digest that any women come on the top specially in our society .Most of people think that women are only for home. And in our society most of times women face many problems like mental harassment.

So to over come from this problem reservation is good step .
