I am partially disagree with u. Working with Indian firm is a good thing but if the person wants to have the more exposure he should go for MNCs. MNCs bring the innovation, new techniques in production and also in other methods of doing work. If the person don't want to be confined with limited exposure he surely should go for MNCs to work. However some Indian organisations are better than some MNCs. If he wants  to be with India then he has the option to work with Indian MNCs.In MNCs a worker is exposed to several types of cultures, different languages, different values, different ethics, so better be with MNCs rather than any national firm if anyone wants to improve his skills more.

working with an indian manufacturing firm is undoubtedly a better option rather than working in MNC, i have worked with worlds largest oilfield service provider which is rated most admirable companies on oil and gas sector but believe me working for them is just tip of an iceberg, you work on gandhi's jayanti, you work on independence day just to earn a day bonus that too working in india,

least in indian manufacturing your job is secure, no one can fire u just by giving you some disgusting reasons , oh yes technological advancements are some constraints

bottomline: working with an Indian Based global organization(cant resist to name TATA group here) is always better as compared to MNCs such as emerson, Atlas copco not even GE

Thank you. A growing Indian company has multiple tasks by their various customers. To achieve the customer requirements they have to accomplish so many certifications like ISO,TS,EMS,QMS. In such cases companies are developing their own employees to work on multiple tasks. A common production supervisor should have the knowledge of each and every activities of other departments too to run his phase without any struggle it also makes him to work as team whether knowingly or unknowingly. It makes him to aware of a complete process cycle but agreeing not all the hints.

Whereas In MNC a particular division personality not required to know what is happening next of him. He has his own schedules on his targets. It makes him as a skilled person on his own work tasks.

In such case I still have the question how an employee (we) could be an employee with his known field for the life time. He would be an Engr,Sr,Engr and Manager in that particular field but can not be a GM or VP of the plant. I may have less experience to recognize such issue but I am still thinking of it "A stores manager in a MNC can not go beyond that whereas it is possible in growing please note "Growing" Indian companies.can we discuss...!!

Working in MNC is more better. You have plenty of chances for learning as well as self development. The most important is the style of behavior (with seniors and Juniors) ,communication and facilities provided that cannot be seen in Indian Manufacturing industries.

In Indian Manufacturing industries one can learn how to alter things, get job done at any cost...no ethical systems etc etc

The fundamental difference between the two is Indian manufacturing industry targets the society at every level, therefore, they allow the skilled manpower to innovate ways to reduce cost in order to percolate down to every level - sometimes compromise on quality too, whereas the MNCs work on set international standards and their working pattern is largely governed and regulated as per the corporate's incorporated country.

Important thing is that what is the difference between the two.

To me ..... so called "Indian" companies also follow the same rules, engagement, management practices, efficiency drives, quality standards, etc. So there is little difference between the two.

Size of the operations can be a factor, that can affect skills of a person but not the lineage of the company!

I am also not agree with you. A multinational corporation (MNC) is a corporation or enterprise that manages production establishments or delivers services.Very large multinationals have budgets that exceed those of many countries. Multinational corporations can have a powerful influence in international relations and local economies. Multinational corporations play an important role in globalization; some argue that a new form of MNC is evolving in response to globalization: the 'globally integrated enterprise'..

I do agree with you. Initially, to grope into the basics you need to familiarize with Indian Companies that provide you a chance to look at things at closer angle. Management systle may a bit change in MNC. But, the concept to achieve the goal is same in both.
