Very interesting concept. I totally believe in the idea. In most of the big cities you have companies that provides catering services for food from different restaurant. So you can say that instead of using the menu list for ordering to a contact center, you can have a rich media client , installed in your device ( you can do this by partnering with the local mobile operators) that can help you trough a electronic program guide to find the best restarurant for ordering, select your menu and even pay!.

It even better because you can add functionalities like track where is your order (using location based services) or paying directly through mobile payment. The business model can be use in differents way, but I would say that the best position in the value chain is to be the broker.

You provide the plataform to others restaurants that wants to be in the portal. You can also include in the mobile portal advertisers as a new revenue stream for the business.
Take a look into www.drutt.com. Is now an Ericsson company. They provide a mobile portal platform that is basically for enabling commerce , mobile portal and content provider management
