Hi Gaurav there is one more little drop in the sea of layoff, conexant has not laid off just 30, may be you got this info from recently joined person or a manager from conexant itself (who will not disclose the correct info.), the actual count is...

Darpan, valid question but very difficult to quote myy sources. Basically, I have collated it from insider sources, websites, recruitment agencies. It is not a paid research:) but i believe that this is 75% reliable.
