Unless the government impose stringent policies and penalize the operators, customer privacy is merely a dream. DND is a big joke and I doubt there is even any attempt being made to protect the customers against spam. I receive almost 20 odd SMS...

Yes we are not secure, yes no one keeps our secrets.. All the data is going out at some cost. The facility we get is same in one or the other way. They make less profit in this world of price war and then use our information to make huge bucks. This is...

Radha Sundaram  |  Added idea  "New batteries must be fully charged."  |  1 year ago
Initialize your new cell phone battery by charging them fully before using them for the first time. This is to obtain maximum battery power capacity. Do not fail to follow the instructions in your unit’s manual in initializing your new batteries.

Here in Andhrapradesh, those said proofs are being accepted by Idea....But if the case is true, then really it is a shame kind of thing being done by Idea to every Indian..

Unless the Khap panchayats are banned such sort of undemocratic barbaric acts will continue in, probably, whole India. State government should take note and ban such Panchayats, who they are no less than terrorists.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has proposed to block the IMEI numbers of stolen mobile phones. IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity and refers to the unique identification number on each mobile device.  The service provider's network is aware of your phone's IMEI number when you make a call. This information can be used to block a mobile device from interacting with any network. Most operators have welcomed the move, but have suggested that they be allowed to charge for blocking IMEI numbers as this will require them to upgrade their network. If the past is any indication though, TRAI is unlikely to accept this demand of the operators. There are meanwhile vario...

Certainly. This move should get implemented properly by TRAI as this will reduce mobile phone stealing & hope that not a single such case will occur in future.

Mobile computers (smartphones) it's the future of market. Home office (anywhere) it's other vector. So mobile internet connects this vectors of evolution. LTE, 4G with low price - I beleive in that :)

I agree with Smita. The Licenses should be canceled immediately so that other players who get the spectrum later do not dare violate terms. Also the sale of spectrum will now fetch better price.

its better to penalise then to go for a re tender those who fail to pay the penalty such licences can be canceled
