My Contribution Project Management activities involved: Drawing up a schedule and Track Release activities Identification of Testing Requirements for the applications Discussion with business and evolve Non-Functional Requirements Evolving a Functional Testing plan Liaison with third parties in organising end to end testing Forming Strategy for Performance testing Liaison with infrastructure on resources Sensitise team members on legal issues Impact analysis of Change requirements Project Details Design, Code, Test and Deliver enhancements to existing banking core application for Royal Bank of Scotland My Contribution Project Management activities involved: Planning and Scheduling - Track Project execution Resource allocation and quality management Work on alternate solution Review and Test of critical modules developed by the team Identifying areas of work for the client - Build application roadmap. Project Details Familiarise and build awareness by providing Thought Leadership in the area of web services by building Prototype, Getting involved in proposing web service based solutions, Present papers and follow evolution of standards in the space of web services. My Contribution Familiarise with concepts in Web Services and Service Oriented Architecture in general. Project Details Design, code, test and deliver enhancements to existing Mobile Portal application for Proximus Belgacom Mobile. The project aims at evolving an Operational Data Store (ODS) for all the data used by various legacy applications. As a pilot all data used by various legacy applications are remodelled to store Customer related data in a common logical area My Contribution In addition to the usual Project Management activities: Study of data requirements for various applications by discussing with application owners Worked closely with strategists to enable future expansion Re-design of existing data models to bring about uniformity in data representation Design, code and test I/O modules to be used by various application for data retrieval Evolved a Conceptual, Logical and Physical data model for various applications Designed Failover mechanisms and put in place auditing jobs to ensure fault tolerance Re-engineer schema to meet performance requirements (Denormalisation etc) Project Details Document Functionality of existing Customer care application and Regression testing of all enhancements done in an applications release cycle. My Contribution In addition to usual project management works: Liaise with Application owners to clarify functionality Brought about automation in regression testing enhancing productivity Baselines taken for a pure testing project for development done by teams other than infosys - first of its kind. Evolved org-wide standards based on performance metrics Developed Extranet based issue tracker to centralise issue recording between infosys (offshore) and client (onsite) Team developed MS Access based application to capture database updates.
