Wanted to spread awareness about this great technique called Alexander Technique. I have personally not gone through this but my wife went through the lessons from Padmini Menon, and had great experience. She has been having backache for past 12 years and had learned to live with it. Even after various tests and physiotherapy sessions it did not helped much. After going through the AT lessons she has had much relief. Though the backache has not gone completely, it has reduced much and she has had period of weeks when she had completely forgotten about the pain. Here is a brief introduction about the AT from Pamini Menon herself… 'The Alexander Technique is a gentle, non-invasive method of...

IIT was never short of lassu's. One can find lassu's here n there. What to do, this was the side effect of less girls in the campus. But this thing really helped to cope up with the problem - Scarcity Of Girls

At times when absurd, senseless, idiotic, ... and, of course, arbitrary seemed a bit too long to fit in, "arbit" came in handy. It made a good qualifier to many other colorful words ... arbit funda, arbit kholu, etc. What an arbit idea, sir ji!

Another way of retaining good faculties is by giving them lucrative incentives promotions. this will boost the morale of the faculties their performance will keep on improving. Thus IIT's should skim out a better incentive promotion plan for faculties.

Hi ,I would like to share the following... This information is narrated by a guy form IIT K the story goes in this way...... I am from 1980-82 M.Tech IME batch - stayed in Hall IV. - There was a 10 pointer who had a horse inside the campus. When people objected about it, IIT/K took a stand that it is fine to have a horse as others have bikes. - I learnt from Dr. Sadagopan the concept of money. He used to say ' Money is the last thing to be worried about as it is the only thing that is available with everyone including a begger.' - Within few months (1981), I got a job at BHEL, Trichy (near my home town). I decided to quietly leave IIT/K, packed my stuff and was heading towards the rai...
