There are lot of ERP solutions available for SME segment. Be it recession or not it is always very tough for any SME to spend a huge amoun on IT services, its due to lack of awareness about the benefits the IT can serve in long nad short term....

Today India is a great market place for ERP as there are lot of SME's who are operating with no or very obsolete applications which can only take care of some basic functions. But to grow ahead in any business one need real time reports of all departments  to plan and implement their decisions which can make the major difference . As in India most of the SME's are not aware of ERP and its benefits, and who knows about it refrains from it due to huge cost associated with any ERP solutions.
