With my experience on working/using both APPLE MAC and MICROSOFT VISTA. I feel that the UI of the MAC is way better than VISTA. VISTA has come closer to Mac but not as closer as it should be.

There is No Comparison MAC UI is genrations ahead of Vista In Fact MAC OS X is a complete OS with the stability of Free BSD and the best windowing system possible Hope they forget this 'own hardware bull shit' and make it available on all hardware

Content is the king. the rest are just to enhance what is written on shown. build your layout and design around the contents. make sure that it has a good navigation. follow web standards and give importance to accessibility and usability.
