This is an ‘untold story’ from Mahabharat, published in a Sanskrit Magazine, many years ago. My father used to read it out to me and translate into my mother tongue. It goes like this: Duryodhan is lying in the battle field, awaiting death, badly bruised by the wounds inflicted by Bhima. He kept his three fingers in a raised position and is unable to speak. All the efforts made by his men to understand the meaning proved to be futile. Seeing his plight Krishna approached him and said “I know what issues occupied your mind. I will address them”. He clarified that the issues are a)      not building a fort around his capital city, b)      not persuading Vidur to participate in the battle c)...

Life becomes so difficult if a war continues. The History of India is full of such incidents and stories which we and our children should learn.

Nice story and great conclusion. Something we should think upon. Thanks for posting it here.

As life is a mix of good and bad, Both generations have good things and unknown things. It depends on what subject u referred to based on generations. the debate without reference is ambiguous
Ajay Chaudhari  |  Argues in support of  "ancient generation"  |  9 months ago
The ancient generation has invented while the maodern generation has built on it. They work hand in glove.

This would be like saying if u did not loot till date u r looser and one who looted the most is winner. That money should be bought back and entirely put in use for national issues grass root level up-liftment under SC monitoring.

Ravali is concerned about well being of milching animals and I appriciate it too but milk is essential and those who are being cruel to animals have no reason except big money and keeping the meat prices low in the world market.
Ravali  |  Argues in support of  "Yes"  |  1 year ago
The least we can do is use Soya milk and coconut milk to reduce the demand of dairy products. If we understand this then only we will be able to do justice to poor cows who are ill treated. Later is the demand reduces the price will have to go down.

Congress party has become a gang of dyeing in harness beneficiaries(Mritak Ashrit) with no good qualities and they are collectively and unitedly looting the country. Kalmadi is a small pin.

Kalmadi is himself a great player of corruption game. So, I don't think that he was used by masterminds.

I have to take this side here. A person who votes is a common man and the person who now is a politician too was once a common man. Then as he entered politics things changed and slowly and gradually he became what he is today.
