(An ATT Company) (April 2006 May 2007) Development of Payment Transaction Manager for Financial Services sector December 2006 Till Date Description of the project Sterling Commerce ventured into the Financial Services sector with the product Payment Transaction Manager. The objective of the product was to provide visibility to Corporate Banks about their Finances. Financial services organizations face a big challenge in complying with scores of regulations. The product enables a customer to: �� Get a more timely view of cash management reports and corporate account balances �� Meet customer demands for rapid on boarding, process integration and self service �� Reduce the complexity of multiple, disparate systems built up over time or through acquisitions, while preserving core systems �� Route and translate payments and other business critical data more efficiently My duties as a developer were: �� Understanding of functional requirements and developing High Level Designs and Low level designs. �� Writing the APIs for the product. The entity APIs were used to create, update, manage File, Envelope, Payments. The Rule APIs were used to create, update Rule, Rule Groups, Rule Actions for the Organization. �� Development to Regression test framework for testing all the business scenarios. �� Development of Validation classes to ensure equal pattern followed by developers to leave less space for errors to creep. These validations run as a part of the build process and Continuous Integration cycle. �� Implementing Security features for CRUD implementation to restrict user access. Details: �� Technologies used: Core Java, Spring Framework, J2EE, XML/XSLT,ANT, Shell Script �� CVS was used as the version control system. Environment Java, JMS, WebLogic, Oracle10g, XML/XSLT, XML Spy, ANT, Red Hat ES 4.0 Linux Integration of Sterling WMS and Nistevo TMS June 2006 November 2006 Description of the project Sterling WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a key player in WMS products and Nistevo in Transport Management Systems. The project goal is to integrate the two products so that the best features from both of the products can be utilized to their best use. My duties as a developer were: �� Mapping the Sterling WMS data (Shipments and Loads created on Sterling) to Nistevo TMS data for Load optimization and routing for Nistevo TMS to understand the data in their format. �� Handling Situations for Shipments being put on hold while the Loads are being optimized on a Transport management System for Route guiding. �� Removing Shipments from holds when it gets added to an optimized load. �� Establishing AS2 Transfer between the Sterling WMS and Nistevo TMS for a secure data Transfer using GIS 4.1. Details: �� Technologies used: Core Java, XML/XSLT,ANT �� Accurev was used as the version control system. Environment Java, JMS, WebLogic, Oracle10g, XML/XSLT, XML Spy, ANT, Red Hat ES 4.0 Linux 2. Junior Software Engineer: Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. (Jul 2005 April 2006): Training July 2005 September 2005 Description of the project Development of an elementary Banking System Module in SAP using ABAP. Key Contributions �� Development Consultant. �� Instrumental in Maintaining the Enhancements Forms. �� Maintaining various IDOC issues. For Client: Financial Services of a Leading Automobile Giant, USA October 2005 April 2006 Description of the project The client is a wholly owned subsidiary of the automobile giant and operates under the brand name of the automobile companys Financial Services. The whole implementation is done in FI domain. Key Contributions �� Designing LSMW Conversions using recordings. �� Designing LSMW Conversions using BAPIs. �� Imparting Knowledge Transitions on LSMW. �� Monitoring the development of LSMW conversion programs of team members as LSMW Conversion Lead. �� Development of Custom programs using standard programs for Vendor creation. �� Development of custom programs for outbound IDOCs. �� Development Consultant. | ||
