KIRLOSKAR OIL ENGINES LIMITED (Auto Components Division- Engine Bearings and Engine Valves) (August 2006-May 2009) Responsibilities: Aug07-May09: Area Sales Manager for the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and I have also handled Kerala for a short duration: Plan and Review the business in accordance with the present scenario. Achieve Annual/Monthly Sales Target. Responsible for the receivables management for the area of operation. Responsible for handling the entire Automobile and other OEM business in the area. Responsible for the overall sales and distribution channel of the area. Ensure high level of customer service. Appoint new distributors/dealers as per the requirement. Monitor the performance of the existing distributors/dealers. Conducting Sales Promotional activities in the respective area. Explore the market for new business opportunities. Responsible for the depot operations and ensure highly efficient supply-chain management. Manage the team of sales representatives. Maintain the M.I.S reporting. Aug06-Aug07: Joined as a `Graduate Engineer Trainee and after 3 months of shop-floor training and departmental rotation, I was assigned to the marketing department. Study the complete order management cycle for the aftermarket segment. Study the production planning process. Coordinate the operations of head-office and depot. Played a pivotal role in a special task force whose objective was to redesign the packaging of the product considering the market requirements, brand equity and costs involved. Achievements: Improved the production planning process by improving the order cycle of the distributors. Appointed new Distributor at Guntur district as per Company standards and counselled the distributor which resulted in increase of business significantly. Increased the Market Share of Kirloskar in Guntur and Nellore districts from 5% to 15%. Effectively utilised the manpower at each of distributors for productive results. Receivables from distributors were nullified by assisting them in retail and fund enhancement. Supervised changes in the packaging as per the new rules by Weights and Measures Department. CELTEM KNOWLEDGE SOLUTIONS PVT LIMITED (Summer Internship Project) (April 2010-June 2010) Responsibilities: April10-June10: Summer Intern Implement a new `Customer Relationship Management system to enhance customer engagement and retention. Revamp of Corporate Website using `CMS. Formulation and implementation of `Social Media Marketing strategies. Achievements: The CRM system (Zoho CRM) was successfully implemented. A customized user-manual was prepared for the sales team. Social media marketing strategies where formulated and it will implemented with the launch of the new website. GRINDWELL NORTON LIMITED (SAINT GOBAIN Group Company- Performance Plastics- Bearings SBU) (May 2011-Present) Responsibilities: May11- Till Date: Business Development Engineer Explore business opportunities in new markets. New customer acquisition/ lead generation. New business opportunities from existing clients Plan the marketing strategies for the SBU. Plan and implement sales promotional activities like participation in trade fairs. Achievements: Generated new business opportunities from Tata Motors Limited.
