From September2008 to till date Working with Emirates Technical and Thermal Systems (ETTS) Abu Dhabi (MEP Contracting Company) As a Senior Procurement Officer - MEP Procure all types of MEP materials and expedite all outstanding material needed for completion of the project Establish / Maintain strong relationship with Project Engineers and requests Monthly Progress Reports for all requisitions for Equipments, Instrumentations, Tools, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC Materials. Liaison with the Safety Engineers for safety materials status control and procure as per the project requirements. Controls / maintains and updates Material Status Report in Access Database on regular basis and reports to Procurement Manager and Project Manager including all the lead engineers on the updates. Coordinates directly with Project engineers and Site engineers for problems, highlights or concerns in the Material requisitions and working with less supervision Close communication with technical engineers for Material Status Control including assistance in obtaining contractual engineering drawings and documents Liaison with project / site engineers to obtain technically correct information for the procurement and standardization of project / stock items so reducing expenditure in stock holding Follow up with the Transporters and ensures that material reaches the site on time without being held up. Also ensure that all materials are suitably stored and preserved against damage of any kind until such time as they are needed by user departments Preparation of Inspection and Test Plans of all related works as per the scope and applicable codes, standards specification and relevant codes Lead and guide QA/QC inspection team to perform technical inspection for the procured materials to insure and achieve required quality | ||

All the new MS operating systems will take time for settle down and user friendly, If you look back while XP was introduced, not everybody was comfortable with XP while using Windows 98. So it is upto microsoft how fast they are upgrading the Windows 7. |
