Highlights The power sector in India offers an aggregate investment opportunity of over US$ 200 billion over the next 8 years. The role of the private sector is in fact geared to become increasingly important across the power sector value chain. Policy reforms combined with institutional restructuring at various levels make the sector commercially attractive.
