I found this thing interesting that the number of retail chains like Gap Inc's Forth Towne and Gymborees Janesville failed not because of poor logistics or supply chain management but because of their wrong notion of consumer percievence. The reason of their failure was that women percieved their products specifically meant for older persons, above 35 years, so wasn't reasonably appealing for them.
