Team Management . Subcontract Management/3rd Party vendor management . Warehouse management . Logistics Support Project Name: TATA-DOCOMO Achievements . Stood as backbone for TATA-DOCOMO for GSM roll-out Chennai and RoTN circles. . Implemented MW network in RoTN Circle and Chennai Circle (launched during June 2009) for TATA DOCOMO. . Involved in successful Installation and commissioning of more than 4000 Microwave links within one and half year for Chennai and RoTN circles. . Consistently achieved customers target on a monthly basis from day one of the project . Ensured 99% Acceptance Test completion by end of the financial year which resulted in quick revenue generation for my company . Took voluntary ownership to run the project successfully in two circles simultaneously . Initialized all the new MW implementation projects in TN (Idea cellular and Datacom solutions), streamline the projects and hand over the same to concern person. . Extends the continuous supports for other internal projects (Management support and technical support) Managerial Responsibilities: . Involved in the planning, implementation and management of GSM projects for sites / links throughout Tamil Nadu, which comprises of: 1. Manpower planning, budget planning and allocation (Chennai and RoTN circles) involving constant feedback regarding usage and overruns. 2. Remote Technical Co-ordination involving technical support/ advise needed by the field engineer, trouble shooting, and constant interaction with related departments/ Vendor to resolve field issues. 3. Logistics Management involving material inventory, dispatches and R and R for faulty equipments. . Established Project Management Office at client site. . Provided delivery management to ensure customer satisfaction and reference-ability . Increased companys growth by securing new partners and by delivering new projects . . Executed and maintained program management processes and disciplines in the areas of: program schedule and quality management; communications management; human resource management; cost management; procurement management; risk / issue management; change management. Technical Responsibilities: . Implementation and Management of projects on GSM roll-out in the field of Wireless Telecommunication . Successfully removing more than 200 unwanted LBs from Topology, Maintaining the interference level as per customer accepted level and LB preparation against the material availability. . Coordination with planning team to make the most of the Network Elements in the rings to protect the network from fading, environmental situation and ensure the network availability of 99.99%. . MW LOS survey, alternate plan for LOS blocked hops, MW RFI survey and Survey report submission . Link Budget preparation with Path Loss tool for LOS cleared hops on allocated frequency spots: 15G and 18G . Implementation of the MW hops with the LB; solve the technical issues during the implementation. . NMS implementations and NE visibility for protect the network, IP design and preparation for all individual nodes and ensuring the non- IP collision in the network. . Constant co-ordination with related teams to enhance the efficiency of the project, and hence the department by highlighting site wise issues and delays and suggesting remedies to resolve them. . Additional responsibilities involved active co-ordination with training department for organizing training sessions for field engineers, maintaining database of manpower, tools etc. . Ensure the 100% quality in the implementation phase and ensuring it by frequent visits. . Complete the Acceptance Test for all the implemented hops and billing the customer for all the activity (LOS Surveys, RFI survey, Link budget etc). . Support with O and M team for network availability 99.99% and provide the necessary training for handling the NEC MW and make the equipments as a user friendly to all the engineers. . Regular meetings planned with internal and external teams for achieve the targets. Project Name2: Uninor Achievements . Stood as backbone for Uninor team and successfully implemented 2000 hops in three months. . Target of 2450 sites E1s were delivered and the same has been launched on Dec2009. . Consistently day wise targets have been achieved on Installation and E1 testing perspective. . More than 60 hops installations completed and E1 delivered in the same day. . NMS implementations completed for all the installed hops before network launch. . 100% of Acceptance test and PAC received for all the hops to generate the revenue for my company. . Make the circle lead and the No.1 position from all 23 circles. Managerial Responsibilities: . Simultaneously two projects have been run successfully without affecting one and another. 1. Existing project manpower has been utilized instead of new manpower (co-coordinator, planner.etc). 2. Project executed with the planned budget and overruns had avoided completely. 3. Providing technical support to the field engineers by various phases-Hop implementation and E1 testing levels 4. AT and documents had been completed on the same implementation time itself. . 5. Material management-Materials arranged from various circles in the time of non-availability and its highly taken care for non impacting the project. 6. Coordinating with logistics team for material transfer and site deliveries on right time. 7. Vendors Provisional Acceptance certification and Logistics proof of deliveries verification done for the partners billing for their stability. . Executed and maintained program management processes and disciplines in the areas of: program schedule and quality management; communications management; human resource management; cost management; procurement management; risk / issue management; change management. Technical Responsibilities: . Implementation and Management of projects on GSM roll-out in the field of Wireless Telecommunication . Uninor project LBs prepared from TATA Docomo topology- the interference level maintaining and link separation has been done successfully. . Link Budget preparation with Path Loss tool for LOS cleared hops on allocated frequency spots: 15G and 18G . Link Budget has been released against the material availability all time and the same warehouse report has been published to planning team. . Shortest path E1 routing had identified and proposed to manage service provider team to on-Air the BTS. . make sure that E1 availability of new path and if the existing hop E1s were already existed, proactively up grading the hop(PDH-SDH) on the new hop installation time. . Network protection has been taken care by ring method to provide 99.99% network availability. Project Name3: Maxis Telecom-Malaysia Achievements . NMS implementation of 3600 existing nodes on 4 months. . RSL issue rectification 180 hops on 2 months . Hop up gradation of existing 703 links from 16E1 to 32 E1 on 4 months . Paso link V4 to Neo 400 links up gradation 3 months. . NMS Disconnected NEs had recovered and made the visibility more than 85% const | ||

I think if its not in recession, why people loss the Jobs in telecom field.Last year alone more than 10-15% of the employees lost their jobs in telecom field and increment,PLA everything reduced and some of the companies its completely deleted fronm... |
