Yes agree with u. there is something else we should know - the top smart gadgets, hardrives,mobiles, GPS, etc have firmwares and independent OS which are developed by these Indian Companies but still these companies are not even thinking of Launching...

No automation will not work for small companies. Mass production is better, because automation needs lot of investment and investment will be more compare to the profit. So better not to go for it
