Character is much more important. it links the way to make fame as well as money. if you do not possess good character, it makes a difficult way to make coin.

I think compared to money character is more important. A good character will help you to earn money. Being rich and having low morals and questionable tactics is not a good life.... :)

MAMTA, FRIEND OR FOE OF SINGUR FARMERS The Singur Land Rehabilitation and Development Bill, 2011 is a political game played by Mamata Bandopadhya, the chief of Trinamool Congress, the ruling party in West Bengal Government of eastern India. Her very first step after coming to power, is all but to prove to the people that she lived upto the commitment, to return the land to the farmers. To note, the tragic part is that ‘Mamta di’ is no better or above than a political person. Power and power to retain and regain could be the ultimate pleasure. She might not be wearing more than a pair of slippers or draping anything other than a taat saari, but her hunger for power is no less than that of...

I read the article completely. Hunger for Power, it is there in every politician's blood. Without that they can not become politicians. But my feeling is that "it is too early to judge Mamata Banerjee (not Bandopadhyaya as mentioned in your...

PRITISH NANDY ON MPs I was a MP not very long ago. I loved those six years. Everyone called me sir, not because of my age but because I was a MP. And even though I never travelled anywhere by train during those years, I revelled in the fact that I could have gone anywhere I liked, on any train, first class with a bogey reserved for my family. Whenever I flew, there were always people around to pick up my baggage, not because I was travelling business class but because I was a MP. And yes, whenever I wrote to any Government officer to help someone in need, it was done. No, not because I was a journalist but because I was a ...
