Chintan Vyas  |  Argues in support of  "It is absolutely safe if the Banks have implemented 2-FA"  |  1 year ago
Today, single factor authentication, e.g. passwords, is no longer considered secure in the internet and banking world. Easy-to-guess passwords, such as names and age, are easily discovered by automated password-collecting programs. Two factor...

We all have heard about phished SSLs - these are secured connections, not with the banks, but with the hackers... How easy it is to get a SSL today! A hacker establishes a secure connection with you, and then with the bank, all the time making you...

Point is IF Banks have implemented Two Factor Authentication. I know only of HSBC in India providing a device for the second factor. I support  Mr. Srinivas's suggestion of opting for Mobile SMS based authentication, but again I personally dont...

by developing mobile oriented secure softwares professionally designed to carry out the phone banking process. these softwares must get dedicated hardware and resources
Shaillender Mittal  |  Supported idea  "Separate Electronic Devices....."  |  2 years ago
If the additional device and the Biometric Data travels over the "unsafe" Internet, it is prone to frauds. What we must ensure is first, that the end-point (the PC or the Phone) and the connection (The Internet or PSTN/GSM etc) are safe. Mutual...

Thanks for the referral Mr. Kiran Kumar reddy. Other factors are also to be considered to get the best out of it.

Use a synthetic Oil (I prefer Mobil1) of 5W or 0W rating. It will give you good performance and a long engine life.
Prakash Saitwal  |  Supported idea  "Keep an eye on your tyre pressures"  |  2 years ago
Simple things, I like to follow -              1. Tyre pressure every 15 days.              2. Servicing every 3 months.              3. Keep it always clean shining.              4. Driver fast, but with utmost care

Shaillender Mittal  |  Added idea  "Authenticate Mutually"  |  2 years ago
The concept of identity in the prevalent conventional identity systems that deal with only labels/attributes/characteristics – “ What you have ”, “ What you know ” and “ What you are ”, totally ignore the most relevant concept of “ Who you know ”...

This is some sort of trend that has happened in the security arena for organizations and Biometrics is leading the way.  Biometrics is the use of some type of scan mechanic on the user’s body such as a finger print or eye retina. But with  adding...

Authors   Sanjay Deshpande ,  Dr. Pat Shankar ,  Eashwar Ganapathy Abstract  In this article, we present a fundamentally new identity framework – RELATIVE IDENTITY - which addresses and eliminates many of the core problems faced by the current identity technologies. We postulate that authentication necessarily has to be mutual and that the only valid way to perform mutual authentication is to make fundamental changes to the identity representation framework. This can be accomplished by – Changing from end-point entity labeling (like in the case of login/password, biometric, digital certificates, 2-Way SSL and a combination of these) – to labeling the relationship between the end-point entit...

Basics of Identity and Authentication  - In order to be able to identify / authenticate any entity (be it man or machine), the entity must be characterized by a unique set of symbols, as per the adopted representation scheme. During the process of actually identifying / authenticating the entity, these characteristics are observed and matched against those that were captured earlier and associated with the entity. The act of  establishing identity  is  identification . An Identity System must be able to represent, provide, maintain and establish identity. The identity representation framework must ensure that it is extremely difficult to compromise the individual identities it deals with. I...

I fully support Srikanth here, statistically speaking, it is 7 times easier to maintain an existing client relation, than to tap a new one. It just makes a good business strategy to try to maintain as many existing clients as you can and...

Yes of course. Depends how you do it, though. For functional/Test Automation - Defect Ratio, Test Ratio etc. are commonly used. For performance- depends on the goals.
