As regional manager I am responsible for the operation specially the revenue, expenditure and profitability of the Region. Also to achieve the desired result in the operations and consistently maintain customer satisfaction in each hospitals in the region. To lead a team of young engineers for implementation of cost effective and timely maintenance and calibration program for the Hospitals under my region (Presently 6 Hospitals 16 engineers and 3 admin staff in my region.). Over 4000 assets are being managed in the region. Also provide Calibration, safety testing and Radiology and other QA services to other Hospitals in the region. Responsibilities include project planning, evaluation and selection of medical equipment, Installation etc. Sr. Bio-Medical Engineer Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Delhi, from February 1999 to January 2009 RGCI and RC is the largest exclusive Cancer care center in Northern India. It is an ISO-9001 and ISO 14001 Certified Institute having 230 beds. As Sr.Biomedical Engineer, looking after the medical equipments in the Institute and ensure maximum up-time for all equipment. Major area of focus was Radiology and Radiotherapy, OT and Laboratory. Technical evaluation, Procurement, Planning, Installation, Maintenance, Training, Evaluation of performance, Preparation of equipment replacement plans etc. Compliance of statutory and regulatory requirements, AMC administration. Co-ordinate activities and supervise administrative staff, technical team and client based requirements. Plan the area for new installation of Major Equipments and service areas like Operation Theater, ICU, Casualty, BMTU etc. Ensure the requirement of power, Air conditioning, water supply, steam supply etc and coordinate with Architect and Consultants, other agencies to ensure the correct and timely completion of projects without any cost overrun. Achieved 15 % deduction in breakdowns also saved Rs.30 lacs annually from Medical equipment maintenance budget. Member of quality Cell Member of Purchase committee.
