It is all about user friendliness. The more user friendly, people will find it, the better the chances of it replacing the old technology. It will take time to know acceptance level by the people, at least a year after it's launch.

I think .NET..bcoz it is came from microsoft.microsoft is only capable of beat all softwares in next competition.so it delivers beatable versions in future.
